“I am very grateful for the amazing care I received at BGH. From the Dr’s ., nurses, and other staff in the emergency room to the radiology staff, and of course everyone involved with my surgery – Dr’s, nurses, anesthesiologist and assistants, and post op care!! Everyone was friendly, caring, and full of information. Thanks!”

“I would recommend this hospital in a heartbeat. When I have my second knee replaced I will come here. Everyone is so upbeat and very polite. They really have good care here and I would recommend it very highly.”

“I just spent four days at this hospital due to being very sick with a kidney infection and I just wanted to say the doctor, the nurses, the entire staff did an amazing job ensuring I was comfortable and made me feel so much better. They are all very friendly, professional, and caring and I just want to thank them all so much. Nobody wants to be sick or in pain, but if it happens again, this is where I am going. Much appreciated Bonner General.”

“One night while we were getting ready for bed my husband said it felt like an elephant was sitting on his chest, then he became nauseous. I immediately took him to Bonner General Health’s Emergency Department. He was attached to monitors within minutes. A few minutes later, the alarms on his monitors went off because he went into cardiac arrest. The doctor called Code Blue and started CPR immediately. They brought in a crash cart and the room filled with people to work on him. Everyone came in calm and ready to do their part, it was pretty darn amazing. They had to shock his heart four times to get it to start beating again. My husband died on that gurney and they brought him back. They saved my husband’s life quickly and efficiently, they all knew what they were doing. As soon as possible, the BGH ER team coordinated a transfer to Kootenai Health where he was immediately taken into surgery. By the time we arrived, he was already out of surgery with stents.

Thank you to everyone in the Bonner General Health Emergency Department that saved my husband’s life!”

“If there were more than 5 stars, I would have used them. I had a total knee replacement this month and from the moment I walked into registration, to the moment I was wheeled out to my friend’s car, I was treated with very attentive care and respect. I have never had major surgery and was very pleased to have such exemplary care 5 blocks from home. I’ve already called the hospital compliance officer to let her know what an amazing job every staff member who cared for me did. Excellent experience!”

“Thank you to Bonner General and the ski patrol at Schweitzer. Both organizations provided exceptional care and compassion when I needed it most! My leg broke (badly) while in the middle of a perfectly good turn, and despite the trauma, caregivers had me laughing as they added a notch to the tally board in the ED. While I hope to ski again, the goal is to walk again. “
