Visitor Restrictions

Your safety is our top priority. All persons entering the hospital and our clinics will be required to wear a mask. We will provide one if needed. Thank you for your cooperation.

Visitor Restrictions & Screening

Each non-COVID in-patient and Emergency Department patient will be allowed one visitor in a 24-hour time period.

  • Pediatric patients may have two parents/guardians
  • Patients who are in end-of-life care
  • Patients needing the assistance of a caregiver to communicate with the healthcare team and/or make health care decisions may have one visitor.

All visitors must be 18 years or older (exceptions will be made for end-of-life patients).

Visitors must pass COVID-19 screening criteria by the BGH staff before their visit.

Individuals meeting the visitor criteria will be screened at the Point of Entry (POE).  If you are visiting an inpatient, you will be given a visitor pass upon entry.  The pass must be returned to the Point of Entry when your visit is complete.

If there is a special circumstance for patient visitation during visiting hours, 8 am – 8 pm; the Nurse Supervisor will communicate with the Point of Entry staff to allow additional visitors. Likewise, if there is a special circumstance for patient visitation after visiting hours, the Nurse Supervisor will communicate with the Emergency Department to provide a visitor pass after 8 pm.

Thank you for your cooperation as we navigate through these ever-changing times.

Everyone entering the hospital should come through the hospital entrance on the west end of the parking lot.

All other entry points will be closed; however, you may leave the building at any accessible exit.

Health Services Building Point of Entry
