Art for the Soul
The Art for the Soul program was established in 1999 to acquire and display quality artwork for the viewing pleasure of our patients, visitors and staff.
We believe that artwork can have a positive influence in a healing environment.
The halls, waiting rooms and offices of Bonner General Health have become our own special gallery. The hospital currently maintains over 600 works, primarily by local artists, in all mediums including paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, and quilts.
Art for the Soul features artwork in the hospital’s west wing from the well known Kaleidoscope art enrichment program. Kaleidoscope is a unique program funded by the Pend Oreille Arts Council and the Community Assistance League that reaches 3rd, 4th and 5th grade children in Bonner County schools.
We welcome donations of quality artwork as well as financial contributions for the purchase of artwork from our community.
