Liz Horsmon is a licensed occupational therapist, practicing in outpatient and acute care rehabilitation since 2019. As part of the team at Performance Therapy Services at Bonner General Health, she is dedicated to helping patients and their families gain or recover function, improve quality of life, and reach their goals through individualized, evidence-based care.
Her clinical interests include pediatric therapy, specifically working with autistic children with sensory processing and behavioral difficulties. She is passionate about improving the quality of life for these children and their families in Sandpoint and currently facilitates a monthly group for parents and caregivers of autistic children. She additionally loves to work with children diagnosed with other developmental differences, such as ADHD, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome.
She additionally works with adults with neurological impairments related to stroke, Parkinson's disease, traumatic brain injuries, and developmental delays. She is LSVT BIG certified for the treatment of Parkinson's.
She is additionally a Certified Passenger Safety Technician, able to check safety and make the best recommendations for car seats.
She earned her Master's in Occupational Therapy from Idaho State University.
