Tessa Reinke, MD

Dr. Tessa Reinke grew up on the coast of Maine and attended Dartmouth College for her undergraduate studies in Sociology and Public Health. She returned to Dartmouth for medical school and did her family medicine rotation in Valdez, Alaska, where she fell in love with rural health care. She matched into residency at Texas A&M Family Medicine Residency, where, along with learning to care for patients across the age spectrum, she had intensive training in obstetrics and women’s health. She has also had the privilege to explore her interest in international medicine, working in clinics in Kenya, Honduras, and Papua New Guinea. After graduating from residency, Dr. Reinke worked as a full spectrum family medicine physician with obstetrics in Newport, Washington, for several years. After the birth of her children, she has chosen to focus on practice management while also continuing to see patients in the outpatient clinic. She is thrilled to join the primary care team at Bonner General. She is passionate about proactive, value-based, whole-person healthcare.

Outside of work, Dr. Reinke loves to travel and explore new places. She enjoys hiking, trail running, Nordic skiing, listening to books on tape, and discovering new recipes. She is married to a very talented family physician and has two darling children.
